This painting is much like one of my previous paintings, called ‘Where Land and Ocean Meet’. I was inspired to paint the collection of these paintings, through my experiences travelling the NT. Travelling to Tiwi Islands, Nhulunbuy ect… as I look down at the earth, from the sky, I can’t help but be amazed by the beauty of the country. How all the river systems and water ways create the amazing country/land we live on. We often take country and Mother Earth for granted.
